Now, the authors don’t speculate on why more religious patients might not opt for living wills, or do-not-rescusitate orders, but I suspect the irrational pro-life-at-any-cost thinking could be behind it.  Not to mention that maybe, they’re not so confident of what’s on the other side, when they’re facing it.  Nah, that couldn’t be it.
